Mark is a Deputy City Attorney with the Public Rights Branch of the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney. In this role, Mark brings civil law enforcement actions against businesses and individuals who have violated California environmental, public health, or consumer protection law.
Throughout his legal career, Mark has served in roles with various civil society and non-profit organizations, and he enjoys helping non-profits navigate their day-to-day transactional and operational challenges. He previously served as an Assistant General Counsel with the New York City Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications, where he provided transactional review, contract drafting, and negotiation services for IT purchases by the City of New York.
Mark began his legal career as a housing and tenant rights attorney with the Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn, New York. Mark previously served as the Corporate Secretary for LA Mas, a Los Angeles based non-profit. Mark received his Juris Doctorate from the American University, Washington College of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science from the George Washington University. Mark is licensed to practice law in California and New York.”
