Campos is the Media and Stakeholder Engagement Manager at SoCalGas. She brings to her new role nearly 20 years of professional experience in public affairs, government relations, media and community engagement.
Prior to working in the private sector, Campos’ career in public service spanned a decade, working for several Los Angeles elected officials and the Commission for Children, Youth and Their Families. She currently chairs the California Architects Board Communications Committee and serves on the Los Angeles East Area Planning Commission. Campos previously served on the California State Architect’s Board and the City of Los Angeles El Pueblo Historic Monument Authority Commission, as well as many chamber and local nonprofit boards, including the Los Angeles Trade-Tech College Foundation and Weingart East Los Angeles YMCA. Campos earned bachelor degrees in Political Science and Mexican-American Studies from San Diego State University. Her parents immigrated to the United States from Mexico and she is the first in her family to graduate from college
