Arturo Espinoza
Arturo Espinoza is a recognized leader in the arts and arts management, and recently completed three years as a mayoral appointee leading Washington DC’s Commission on the Arts and Humanities. Previous to that role, Espinoza served five years as Managing Director of The Washington Ballet.

He was also the Executive Director and Interim Artistic Director of Canyon Concert Ballet in Fort Collins, Colorado, from 1996 to 1999, and General Manager of the Colorado Ballet from 1999-2010. Over a distinguished career in the arts sector, Espinoza has worked with numerous highly regarded organizations, including the Milwaukee Ballet, Central City Opera, Fort Collins Children’s Theatre, Opera Fort Collins and OpenStage Theatre and Company and other producing companies, arts councils and economic development districts. Espinoza studied at Colorado State University and is a veteran of the United States Navy.
