Elizabeth Zamudio

Elizabeth was elected to the governing board of Open Paths Counseling Center in July 2021.

About Elizabeth:

Elizabeth Zamudio is the Vice President of Education at UnidosUS (formerly National Council of La Raza) where she leads education programmatic work, including K-16 programming, family and community engagement, and strategic impact with UnidosUS’ Affiliate Network. Elizabeth is a senior education professional with over two decades of experience in the non-profit sector.

Prior to joining UnidosUS, Elizabeth served as the Vice President of Program and Impact at Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE), a national organization focused on enhancing family engagement efforts within school communities. Elizabeth oversaw all programmatic efforts in eight state regional offices and national affiliations including curriculum development, training, implementation, and evaluation.

Previously, Elizabeth served as the Vice President of Programs at the Fulfillment Fund overseeing all programmatic activity.  For over a decade as a college counselor, Elizabeth worked with first-generation college going high school students to prepare for college and provided support through college graduation.

A first-generation college graduate herself, Elizabeth holds bachelor and master degrees from Loyola Marymount University, is a graduate of USC’s Non-Profit Resilient Leaders program, and is currently a doctoral candidate in Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine University.
