Felix Ureña is an Executive Director and Banker at J.P. Morgan Private Bank.
Felix advises a range of affluent clients, including attorneys, private equity partners, C-suite executives and other leaders in the community, to help them transform hard work into generational legacies. He acts as their conduit to the fortress balance sheet and global capabilities of J.P. Morgan, one of the most well-respected banks in the world.
Felix has a significant background in the complex financial scenarios accompanying liquidity events, M&A transactions and litigation settlements. He partners alongside clients to address their sophisticated needs, coordinating specialist resources in banking, investing, lending and planning to design a tailored path forward. Felix’s strength lies in navigating the organization’s infrastructure to make introductions and connect people. He has built a reputation for his straightforward viewpoints and level of care in helping others achieve the success they deserve.
Felix grew up on New York City’s Upper West Side and is a proud alum of Portsmouth Abbey School. He earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Navy ROTC. Felix served as a highly decorated Officer in the U.S. Navy, deploying twice to the Persian Gulf with the Kitty Hawk Battle Group to support the aftermath of Operation Desert Storm. Upon his return to civilian life, he received an M.B.A. in Finance from the USC Marshall School of Business.
Family is extremely important to Felix, and he relishes his time with his wife and four children. He enjoys all cuisines—especially Dominican food, watching competitive volleyball and his beloved Yankees, and volunteering with veterans organizations.
