Alex M. Moisa was elected to the board of Nature for All. Alex is an attorney with more than twenty years of practice, specializing in family law and estate planning. He has represented hundreds of individuals and families in their complicated and sensitive family law matters. Aside from managing a successful law practice, Mr. Moisa is an active member of the Whittier community. He has been involved in numerous community organizations and non-profit organizations, including service on the Boards of the Boys and Girls Club of Whittier, SPIRITT Family Services and served as the first president of the Friends of Pio Pico State Park. Mr. Moisa has also served on the City of Whittier Parks and Recreation Commission and on the Citizens Technical Advisory Committee, representing the City of Whittier, for the Puente Hills Native Habitat Preservation Authority.
Mr. Moisa graduated from Montebello High School, earned a B.A. degree in English from the University of California, Los Angeles, and earned his law degree from U.C. Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Moisa served as an Associate Editor of the Boalt Hall Law Review and as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the La Raza Law Students Law Review. Mr. Moisa is married with three children, and resides in Whittier, California.
Nature for All is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to ensuring equitable access to nature—parks, forests, rivers, and trails—for all residents, especially those in historically underserved neighborhoods. They also focus on building and empowering a diverse generation of environmental leaders and stewards through advocacy, education, and programs that protect public lands.
